Frequently asked questions

Which TVs and devices are supported?

Any Chromecast device, Google TV, or TV with Chromecast built-in. You cast from the Google Chrome browser on a computer or Android phone connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your TV.

How much does it cost?

Nothing. Watching BCCN TV on your television is free for BCCN members — just sign in with your free BCCN account. There is no trial, no subscription, and no charge.

Do I need a BCCN account?

Yes. Visitors can watch a short free preview, then you'll be asked to sign in to keep watching. Creating a BCCN account is free.

The video isn't playing on my TV — what should I do?

Use Chrome's Cast tab feature (menu → Cast… → Sources → Cast tab), not the Cast button on the page. Most BCCN programs are YouTube videos, which play best when the whole tab is mirrored to the TV. Make sure the video is playing on your computer first, and that sound isn't muted.

Can I watch on my phone or tablet?

Yes. BCCN TV plays right in the browser on phones and tablets. On Android, you can also cast to your TV from Chrome the same way.
