A Higher View of Faith and Community
The eagle represents the vision and responsibility of the Bexar County Church Network. Its ability to see from a higher perspective reminds us that meaningful service requires more than observing what is happening today. It requires recognizing the history behind us, the needs around us, and the opportunities ahead.
BCCN does not seek to become the authority over San Antonio's faith community. Every congregation maintains its own leadership, traditions, doctrine, and identity. Our responsibility is to serve as a trusted steward, connector, and community resource. We provide a shared platform where churches can be discovered, their histories preserved, their ministries supported, and their work made more visible.
Scripture describes the eagle as seeing from afar. That bird's eye view reflects our commitment to looking across neighborhoods, denominations, and generations. By seeing the larger landscape, we can help identify common needs, reduce missed opportunities, and connect people with churches, services, events, and resources throughout Bexar County.
The eagle also represents strength during difficult seasons. Isaiah 40:31 reminds us that those who trust in the Lord will renew their strength and soar on wings like eagles. Our churches have carried families and communities through economic hardship, social change, personal loss, and moments of uncertainty. BCCN exists to strengthen that work by helping congregations communicate, collaborate, and remain connected.
Renewal is also essential. Faith communities honor their history while continually preparing for what comes next. Through technology, livestreaming, community programming, historical preservation, and shared information, BCCN helps established churches reach new audiences without losing the traditions that shaped them.
Finally, the eagle symbolizes care for the next generation. Deuteronomy 32:11 presents the image of an eagle watching over its young, encouraging them to fly while remaining close enough to provide support. In that same spirit, BCCN will create space for emerging pastors, young leaders, ministries, creatives, and community voices to grow.
We are not here to speak for every church. We are here to listen, document, connect, support, and help the faith community see itself more clearly.

- · Service times and milestone dates are confirmed with the church office each year.
- · Streams always play from the church's own channel — views and ad revenue stay theirs.
- · Basic church listings are always free. Paid memberships provide optional promotional features and enhanced visibility. We do not sell member information.
